Despite the media frenzy around Battlefield 2042, Activision has so far remained silent about the upcoming Call of Duty. A silence that begins to crumble as the leaks follow one another this week…

Let's start with the big chunk since the Charlie INTEL site has shared a first artwork unearthed in the files of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. The visual (at the top of this article) seems to confirm the era of the Second World War as well as the title of the game which will be called Call of Duty: Vanguard. The leaks also tell us that an Ultimate version will be offered for sale and that an open beta will take place soon.

Significant novelties?

Other details also ended up on the canvas in advance. According to these elements, Call of Duty: Vanguard will have 24 multiplayer maps, dynamic weather, anti-cheat from launch or even a Zombies mode developed by Treyarch. An alpha should also be held in the coming days.

Finally, more interestingly, this new opus imagined by Sledgehammer Games could be announced next week, and more precisely on August 19. As for the release date of this Call of Duty: Vanguard, it would be set for November 5, 2021.
