Barely a week after its record acquisition by Microsoft, Blizzard Entertainment announces an ambitious new project shrouded in mystery… Indeed, we ultimately know almost nothing about this game.
The formalization fell through a simple article posted on the studio's official website. Blizzard announces that it is working on a survival game whose events will take place in the heart of a totally original universe. Exit Diablo, Warcraft or StarCraft, and make way for an entirely new license… A great first since the release of Overwatch in 2016.
A promising project?
As of this writing, Blizzard hasn't bothered to release the title of its game. as an appetizer. Two artworks have also been published. An illustration seems to reveal the existence of a portal between two worlds… One being our reality and the other, a place overflowing with magic where nature seems to predominate over the rest.
Of course, this game, planned for consoles and PC, will not see the light of day immediately. Blizzard is currently offering job offers for major positions… We can undoubtedly imagine a very distant release date, since other major titles such as Diablo IV, Diablo Immortal or even Overwatch 2 are already in the pipeline.
