In addition to Gamescom, the month of August will see a second event dedicated to video games. This is QuakeCon 2021 orchestrated by Bethesda Softworks. This week, the publisher returned to the schedule for this edition.

This QuakeCon At Home will start on Thursday, August 19 from 20:00 p.m. PST. A kind of small opening ceremony will launch the hostilities. DOOM Eternal cannot be ruled out since the title will soon receive a new Horde mode. Finally, rumors evoke the possible announcement of a new Quake to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the license.
Finally, members of the community will host lives on Twitch until the end of this QuakeCon 2021. The Discord server will also be a place to watch. Finally, fundraisers for charities (animals, people in difficulty, etc.) will take place throughout the event.
