Already presented a few months ago, the mode Portal de Battlefield 2042, one of the pillars of the next FPS of DICE, recalls to our fond memories in a trailer anachronistic.
As a reminder, this mode will bring together maps and elements from previous Battlefield titles, and will offer great freedom to players to create very chaotic games as we like them in a DICE production.
A Chaotic Portal Full of Nostalgia
In this brand new trailer illustrating the possibilities offered by Portal mode, we discover iconic maps from previous titles brought up to date with the Battlefield 2042 engine. logical, but with fun as the primary focus of elements from Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.
More concretely, the Portal mode will allow the most inventive to create or search for different game modes via a browser. Some will be offered by the developers themselves, who however count on the overflowing imagination of the Battlefield community to sustain the mode for a long time.
What's more, the exercise will be as fun as it is lucrative, since all experience gains and progress obtained through Portal will be shared with the other modes of Battlefield 2042.
