They have a cross from the page Steam de Baldur's Gate III, Larian Studios dangles us the content to come for Patch 6 of the early access.

It promises to be, once again, the most massive ever seen in the game, weighing a whopping 60 GB. It should include a new class, as well as the possibility of equipping a salami in each hand. Dungeons & Dragons at its finest, in short.

Witchcraft and salamis

The happy Belgians at Larian Studios are far from idle regarding their most ambitious C-RPG to date. Beyond the early access available for exactly a year (to one day), the teams are also working on the other acts of the game that we will be able to discover later.

Four months after Patch 5 presented in a hilarious Panel From Hell III as Larian Studios has the secret, it seems time for Baldur's Gate III to welcome its next major patch. As an appetizer, its creators indicate that attendees of the EGX Gaming Show in London this week will be treated to an exclusive glimpse of a new class. This one should have a certain affinity with magic, and could well be the Sorcerer class, the last specialized in magic and still missing in early access.

Another oh so major element of this Patch 6: the possibility of handling a salami in each hand. We don't mess with food. In reality, this is a nod from the developers to the fact that the cat asked the participants of the Panel From Hell III to fight with a salami. Something that any Dungeons & Dragons roleplayer has done at some point during their games, and Larian Studios' brand certainly doesn't lack for humor.

Hell and betas

Of course, these two elements alone cannot justify a 60 GB patch to download. Larian Studios is therefore weaving something mystical in its laboratories, and we should learn more during a fourth Panel From Hell. After an Escape Game / Role Playing Game, what are the facetious Swen Vincke and his teams preparing for us? We should find out soon enough.

Anyway, the article around the upcoming Patch 6 also took the opportunity to explain how to take advantage of the latter when it comes out. If Baldur's Gate III has been set to auto-update in your home, you're ready to master the art of salami fighting. However, if you opted for betas of older patches and forgot to switch, go to the Betas tab through the game properties to uncheck any previous betas.

As with each new major patch, the arrival of the sixth will inevitably lead to incompatibility of saves on a previous version of the game. It is of course possible to stay on Patch 5, but in this case it will be necessary to indicate it in the tab Previously mentioned betas.

So here you are ready, armed with your witchcraft and your two salamis for the Panel From Hell IV which should not take long to arrive. In a particularly whimsical form, certainly.
