Modestly received (let's be polite) when it debuted at Square Enix's E3 conference last month, PlatinumGames' new action-RPG is about to pass the test of fire in a multi-phase closed beta.

In Europe, chosen ones will be able to discover Babylon's Fall on August 12 between 19 p.m. and 23 p.m. But Japanese servers will open this Thursday, followed by US servers on August 5.

A beta in 3 phases

The first phase will focus on the PC version (Steam) of the game. The objective is to ensure that the technical base of the connected title is solid enough to accommodate the many players curious to discover the new game developed by PlatinumGames (Bayonetta , NieR:Automata).

Nevertheless, the people selected being subject to a confidentiality agreement, we should not be able to get a precise idea of the title before the start of phases 2 and 3 of the beta. Still undated, they will be held on PS4 and PS5, and this time should allow players to share their impressions.

In any case, the program unveiled by Square Enix for this first contact with Babylon's Fall is very modest. Only one quest will be available. However, we can walk around the base of operations and discover the basics of the combat system.
