Auto Chess will have a MOBA spin-off... even though it is itself a DOTA 2 mod

While Auto Chess is directly related to Dota 2, Valve is not involved in this project. The auto battler is indeed developed by Drodo Studio and published by Dragonest.

Following the success of the game, we have seen a number of competitors flourish, including Teamfight Tactics (TFT) based on League of Legends, Battlegrounds integrated directly into Hearthstone and Dota Underlords, the official auto battler of the Dota universe. You follow ?

Free and without pay-to-win

But let's go back to Auto Chess MOBA, published by Dragonest, which has experience in this area. The playable heroes will logically be drawn from Auto Chess.

In terms of gameplay, it's hard to reinvent the genre, but we should still be entitled to some innovative features, including day/night cycle management and destructible decorative elements.

Auto Chess MOBA will be released first on Android and iOS, before a potential port to other media (PC, consoles). Its exact release date has not yet been announced.

Regarding the economic model, we are assured that there will be no pay-to-win element: heroes and runes will therefore be free and no advantages can be purchased. Only aesthetic items should therefore be offered for sale.
