The saga around the setbacks ofApex Legends et Titanfall keep on going. Yesterday, we learned that the teams of Respawn were currently acting to resolve the DDoS attacks occurring on the servers of Titanfall, but with a very small staff. However, the studio gets entangled in this situation and sees its plans thwarted.

As a reminder, a group of hackers attacked Apex Legends to complain about the current state of Titanfall's servers. This wave of computer attacks finally impacted the development of Apex Legends to the point of slowing down the arrival of a new feature.

Cross-platform progression delayed

Cross-platform play is not new to Apex Legends since this feature was already implemented last year. However, players are unable to transfer their progress between different platforms, except between Steam and Origin.

And given recent events, this feature will take time to expand according to the words of the game director, Chad Grenier, since the hacks have slowed down the work of the teams on the cross-platform progression.

This speech is in addition to that of the director of communications of the game, Ryan K. Rigney, when he declared, last May, that this kind of frustrating situation leads to weeks of work thrown in the food, forcing teams to fill exploited flaw.

Besides that, Titanfall 2 servers are still the target of hackers. This weekend again, the servers have both been made inaccessible and then accessible at the whim of one of the hackers who claims that it is still possible for him to suspend them at any time.
