The Spaniards of Out of the blue are not idle! A little over a year after the remarkable release of their first game Call of the sea, these industry veterans return to business with a diametrically opposed game.
Those who appreciated the seventies aesthetics of Deathloop or The Anacrusis will be thrilled, since American Arcadia – that's its name – will offer us an escape from a reality show of the 70s.

Still published by Raw Fury, American Arcadia looks like a more modest-looking project than Call of the Sea. But let's not sell the bear skin too quickly.
The new title of Out of the blue will propose to embody two characters, for as many different points of view and gameplay. The first, Trevor Hill, is an actor in spite of himself in a life-size reality show from which he seeks to escape. It will be controlled in a 2,5D environment reminiscent of platform games.
The second is none other than the voice that guides him, and which seems to belong to the production of the show. Playing it, players will experience fully first-person gameplay in 3D environments.
As for Call of the Sea, Out of the blue knew how to surround itself to give voice to its characters. Cissy Jones (Firewatch, Call of the Sea) is back, and will play the role of Yuri Lowenthal, the interpreter of Spider-Man in the eponymous game from Insomniac Games.
American Arcadia will participate in the presentation of the TRIBECA Game Festival on June 10. We can find out more about the game at that time, and why not leave with a release date.
