The Remedy studio has concocted a new trailer in order to highlight the visual improvements made by the remaster ofAlan Wake.


What to get a better idea of ​​​​the advantages of this updated version before its release, scheduled for October 5 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC (via Epic Games Store).

Alan Wake Remastered Compares to the Original 2010 Release

This is the Xbox Series X version of Alan Wake Remastered which is compared to the original game released in 2010 on Xbox 360. To offer "graphics at the level of today's standards", Remedy has teamed up to a team specializing in remastering, the d3t studio, which worked on Burnout Paradise Remastered, Shenmue I & II HD and Mafia II Definitive Edition.


The developers promise richer environments with finer shadows, greater draw distance and better textures. Character models have also been revamped to look more like the actors they're based on, as have cutscenes that benefit from improved facial animations and lip-syncing. Everything will run in 4K at 60 frames per second on PC, Xbox Series X and PS5 (1p at 080 frames per second on Xbox Series S).


Alan Wake Remastered will be available in physical as well as dematerialized at a price of 29,99 euros. The game includes the two narrative expansions Le Signal and L'Écrivain.
