After having carved out a solid reputation with Control Recently, the Remedy studio offered itself a return to basics by formalizing the upcoming release of a remastered version ofAlan Wake, a project the studio had been working on in the shadows for some time.

No white page syndrome on Switch?

Released in 2010, Alan Wake had only benefited, at the time, from a launch on Xbox 360 and PC. But, with growing popularity over the years, the development studio Remedy wanted to give one of its flagship titles the visibility it deserved.

Thus, Alan Wake Remastered will indeed benefit from a multiplatform release and will make us live, or relive for some, the nightmare crossed by the novelist Alan Wake to elucidate the mystery behind the sudden disappearance of his wife.

This new version will be entitled to many visual improvements, in particular 4K, and will ship the two expansions of the game. However, one platform, namely the Switch, was absent subscribers at the time of the announcement and Nintendo players were already doing their mourning, while retaining an ounce of hope.

As noted by the VGC site, it could be that Alan Wake Remastered also lands on Switch if we believe the listing of the game by the Brazilian video game classification body, thus joining the PC, PS4, PS5 versions. , Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S slated for release in the fall. Nevertheless, all this remains to be confirmed either through Remedy or Epic Games, which publishes the game: business to follow, therefore!
