After a long absence, the license Advance Wars will come back next year Nintendo Switch through a remake of the first two games. And a release date may have just leaked.
If it was originally supposed to land in early December, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was finally postponed just a few weeks before its launch. On this occasion, Nintendo simply announced that its game would arrive in the spring of 2022. Thus, we did not know the precise release day but that may have just changed.
And this is not a joke
We owe this leak to Nintendo via the game's eShop page. Indeed, visual support (see below), Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is now listed on April 8, 2022. Hard to know whether it is an error or a clumsiness of the Japanese manufacturer who planned this new date without taking the trouble to communicate clearly.
When the title was announced, Nintendo explained that the first two Advance Wars have been completely reworked. The two campaigns will be on the program in addition to the VS mode playable up to four players.
