Abandoned… Does this title ring a bell? Yes, it is exclusive PS5 so mysterious that caused so much talk last summer. Despite a deafening silence in recent weeks, the game is still in development and new elements could soon be unveiled.
We say “could” since it is difficult to know on which foot to dance with this project led by Blue Box Game Studios. After a fairly aggressive (and a bit misleading?) communication campaign on social networks, the Dutch firm launched the Abandoned PS5 application last July, which currently only offers 4 short seconds of video… After which, there was complete silence around the project.
Still hope?
On Twitter, Blue Box Game Studios has finally taken the floor by answering questions from some Internet users. This was, for example, the opportunity to learn that an update to the PS5 application will be deployed “soon”. Content and trailers should then be added. However, the developers were careful not to communicate a launch window.
Finally, last important point, the playable prologue of Abandoned is now expected during the first quarter of 2022. Note that it will not be a question of a demo but of a game in its own right, according to the studio . In short, we are no further ahead as to the true nature of this game.
