Abandoned, the intriguing PS5 exclusive, gets a free app

It may crystallize the attention and the hopes of many players, Abandoned has yet to reveal its true nature. But that will soon change since a mysterious application can now be downloaded from PS5.

It's hard to know on which foot to dance with Abandoned. Initially sold as “a simple independent game” with realistic graphics, the title developed by the unknowns at Blue Box Game Studios multiplied the cryptic communication times. Despite the denials of the development team, many players saw this project as a Silent Hill in disguise. It must be said that all the noise around the game looks like the teasing techniques used by a certain Hideo Kojima...

A game that hides well… its game?

Since this Thursday, July 29, the application entitled Abandoned: Trailers can be downloaded for free on PS5. A mysterious “intro” will drop there on August 10, followed by the first trailer later that same month. Ultimately, several videos with durations ranging from 5 to 12 minutes will be introduced into the app. This will also be the case for gameplay footage and future events.



Currently, Abandoned is the first game to use such a way of communicating. In addition, the visual (above) seems to hide the face of a man with an eye patch. A mystery… one more!
