Disappointing in many aspects, the famous application ofAbandoned on PS5 has so far only delivered a poor 5 second clip. So much so that we still don't know what this enigmatic game is. This week, the developers wanted to clarify certain points.
Thanks to an FAQ published on its site, Blue Box Games Studio stopped on some details concerning Abandoned. This was an opportunity to recall that the project is not at all linked to Hideo Kojima and that it is simply carried out by an independent studio based in the Netherlands. Also, after the setbacks of the PS5 application, the development team promises to put a new teaser online soon.

A long-awaited game
In this FAQ, Blue Box admits that they announced their game way too early. At present, the project is not at a sufficiently advanced stage to allow for proper communication. After all, the launch date has been moved to next year, both in dematerialized and physical edition. Worse still, Abandoned is simply a code name for this shooter/survival game whose horror is ultimately not the primary theme. The developers want to introduce realistic survival gameplay.
Finally, an independently playable prologue will be downloadable before the game's release. This appetizer will even have its own list of trophies to unlock. In short, we are no further ahead...
