Earlier this week, a major data leak on GeForce Now indicated the hypothetical release of several very popular PC games. In this list, we find for example God of War or even Hello 5 Guardians.

Today, it is the title of 343 Industries that will interest us because, unlike the Master Chief Collection, the fifth installment in the Halo saga has never arrived on PC. Launched at the end of 2015 on Xbox One, this episode divided the fan community, but some faithful still acclaim it almost six long years after its release. Is a resurrection of the game possible on our computers as indicated by the GeForce Now leak?

The studio calms everyone down!

The least we can say is that 343 Industries did not beat around the bush. In a tweet, the community director for the Halo franchise spoke about it. No, Halo 5 Guardians will not be released on PC.

“…I can confirm that we have no plans to port Halo 5 to PC. We're aware of some demand for this, but as we've said before, it's not planned and the studio is totally focused on Infinite and the Master Chief Collection. Never say never, but that's not relevant at the moment.

Now we just have to wait until December 8, 2021 to play Halo Infinite.
