Officialized during the 2021 Game Awards, the PC counterpart of Game Pass is currently on a three-month free trial offer.
This trial offer valid until April 30 is intended exclusively for new members and is subject to a few conditions to be eligible.
How to qualify for the PC Game Pass free trial offer
With this three-month free trial offer, the PC Game Pass intends to expand its circle of influence. Those who have already subscribed to a Game Pass subscription (Xbox like PC) are unfortunately not eligible.
For players who have not yet taken the plunge, here is the procedure to follow to be eligible for this trial offer:
- Never have subscribed to a Game Pass subscription with their usual Microsoft account;
- Have played Halo Infinite (even just free-to-play multiplayer), Age of Empires IV, or Forza Horizon 5 between release and February 28;
- Check your eligibility on the page dedicated to the PC Game Pass trial offer on the Microsoft site.
Note that, if you manage to obtain these three months of subscription offered to the PC Game Pass, you will be automatically debited from the price of the classic subscription at the end of the three months. If you don't want to renew your subscription, be sure to turn off auto-renewal on your Microsoft account.
