Dotemu just announced several things regarding 2 Windjammers. The sequel to the popular flying disc game will not only be coming to PC, Switch et Stadia, but also on PS4 and PS5. In addition, an open beta is launched today, and until August 22.
On the other hand, for an official release date, it will be necessary to wait.

Windjammers 2: Frisbee back on more and more platforms
Dotemu has not forgotten Windjammers 2, the sequel to the famous Neo Geo frisbee game. The developer has just announced several important information, especially for Sony players. Indeed, the title will arrive on PS4 and PS5, in addition to the platforms already announced previously, namely PC, Switch and Stadia.
If you can't wait for the official release date, still unspecified but expected in 2021, an open multiplayer beta will take place this Wednesday, August 11 from 15 p.m. on PC and Sony consoles. This will offer four characters and four terrains; note that on PS4 and PS5 it is not necessary to be a PS+ subscriber to be able to access the beta.
There is no doubt that if this phase goes better than the previous one, which had forced the developer to review its plans following feedback from the community, the official release should not be too far away.
