[Update] New World: extended server maintenance due to technical issues

The servers of N do not seem to be at the end of their troubles, as they are currently in maintenance for an indefinite period due to technical problems.

Update from 06/10 at 21:00 p.m.:

Shortly before 20 p.m., eight hours after they went into maintenance, Amazon Games announced via the game's official Twitter account that the servers were now operational. Aeternum is therefore once again open to adventurers, with patch 1.01 deployed.

Taken offline at 12:00 p.m. (Paris time) in order to deploy patch 1.01 and supposed to be relaunched four hours later, these are currently still inaccessible until further notice.

An Unstable New World

This is common practice in MMOs: in order to deploy a patch, servers must be placed in maintenance phase for a certain period of time, in this case four hours. In any case, this is what Amazon Games announced this afternoon, explaining that “each world must complete its maintenance period before being relaunched once we are certain that everyone can return to Aeternum as quickly as possible. possible ".

At least, that was the original plan. Four hours later, the servers were still not relaunched, and Amazon Games warned on Twitter that it should happen in the next few hours.

Almost seven hours later, the servers are still not up and running, and neither Amazon Games nor the nearly million colonists eager to return to Aeternum know how much longer the wait will last. The studio will not fail to inform the most impatient via the official Twitter account of the game as to the progress of operations.
