Announced during E3 2021 for September 16, the FPS cooperative of Ubisoft with complicated development, in particular based on several name changes, Rainbow six extraction, has now been pushed back to January 2022.

An extraction point too close
Originally, it was a temporary game mode of Rainbow Six Siege, which had been very successful. The idea of ​​making it a full-fledged spin-off subsequently developed like a parasitic mushroom within Ubisoft. The objective was therefore to take the core gameplay of the original game, including agents with unique and unique skills, but to make it a cooperative shooter against an alien invasion, like a certain GTFO.
The project remained dormant for two years before being the highlight of the Ubisoft conference during E3 2021. What was presented to us turned out to be all in all nice, but lacking a little too much immersion, while the Spanish giant took the opportunity to announce a release date set for September 16.
This deadline is obviously too close for Ubisoft. Today, the studio has finally decided to postpone the project to January 2022 in order to take the time necessary to offer an experience closer to the initial objective. Extraction therefore planned for the beginning of next year to deal with the threat of the Archaeans on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna.
