Announced at E3 by Ubisoft last June, Rocksmith + will also fall behind its initial schedule. Indeed, the service will not land this summer but in 2022, without further details for the moment.

Thus, Rocksmith+ will be in the form of a subscription service allowing you to learn to play guitar (acoustic or electric) and bass via our computers. From €14,99/month, budding musicians will have access to a large library of songs. By downloading the appropriate app, our smartphone will serve as a microphone by synchronizing it to a PC. Training tools and real-time feedback will be on the program.

The music is good… but it will wait

Alas, Rocksmith+ has been keeping a low profile over the past few weeks and there's a good reason for that. On Twitter, Ubisoft posted a press release indicating the postponement of its service. The latter is postponed until 2022 and no new precise date has been confirmed at this time. This extra development time will come in handy for teams who will be able to fully consider the feedback gathered from the Closed Beta.

Last July, Ubisoft already confirmed the postponements of Riders Republic and Rainbow Six Extraction. The first will land on October 28, 2021 and the second in January 2022.
