Total War: Warhammer III reveals the last two Chaos factions

Until February 17, 2022, The Creative Assembly unveils the last two factions not yet presented for Total War: Warhammer III.

No surprise, since these are the two Gods of Chaos who had not yet had their moment of glory: the Lord of Pestilence Nurgle and the Prince of Pleasure Slaanesh!

Pleasures and Pestilence

With this latest trailer, The Creative Assembly finally reveals its vision for the armies of Nurgle and Slaanesh. The British studio also takes the opportunity to slip in an element of the main story centered on a character that we had met in the very first trailer of the game. This one seems bound by a pact with Tzeentch and seeks to acquire more knowledge.

The two gods who were still missing try to win him over to their cause. On one side we have Nurgle, the god of corruption and the most abject diseases. As a Legendary Lord, we saw in this short video of Ku'Gath, the Father of Epidemics. His ultimate goal being to create a disease horrible enough to strike down the gods themselves, no doubt his campaign objective will be linked to this mission.

On the other, we have Slaanesh. The youngest of the Chaos Gods is about unhealthy lust and secrets. To represent him on the battlefield, we saw as Legendary Lord N'kari, an androgynous Keeper of the Secrets of Slaanesh representing well these two facets of the god he serves.

This trailer also briefly presented the units that will make up the armies of the two Gods of Chaos, taking up the identity of each. The Creative Assembly will not fail to say more by the official release of the game, announced on February 17, 2022 on PC and Game Pass.
