The Creative Assembly today kills two birds with one stone to Total War: Warhammer III by first presenting the faction in pre-order DLC, as well as a release date.
Speculation was rife between the Chaos Dwarfs and the Ogres, and it is finally this faction that will make a gluttonous entry into Total War: Warhammer III on February 17, 2022 on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store… but also via the Game Pass!
Ogre's Appetite from Creative Assembly
In September, the British studio behind the cult Total War franchise announced the postponement of Total War: Warhammer III to early 2022, without further details. Today, The Creative Assembly feeds us a lot of information about its next ambitious title.
First of all, after Grand Cathay and Tzeentch, it's the Ogres' turn to find their place at the banquet. This faction will be playable for free for those who have pre-ordered the game or provided they acquire it during the first week after the release. If we don't know much about the armies and mechanics of this faction, this trailer in any case announces the color with huge creatures particularly focused on food.
Other information provided by this trailer: a more refined release date, namely February 17, 2022 on PC... but also, to everyone's surprise, on the Game Pass! The opportunity for subscribers to the Microsoft service to discover the last episode of a trilogy of epic strategy games.
To take full advantage of the experience and in particular of the Mortal Empires mode, you will however have to buy the third opus on the same platform as the one on which you have the previous titles and DLCs.
