Today many games Metal Gear Solid will disappear from digital stores.
A temporary disappearance, however, as explained by Konami.

Bad luck if you were planning to download Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty HD Edition or Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D today. Indeed, various titles of the MGS saga have been removed from digital stores, in order to allow Konami to renew various licenses concerning certain historical archive footage used in the games.
Concretely, as of today, Monday, November 8, just over ten games from the Metal Gear Solid saga have been temporarily removed from virtual stores.
The withdrawal concerns the following games:

- METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER HD EDITION sur PS3
- METAL GEAR SOLID HD EDITION sur PS3
- METAL GEAR SOLID 2 SONS OF LIBERTY HD EDITION sur PS Vita
- METAL GEAR SOLID 3 SNAKE EATER HD EDITION sur PS Vita
- METAL GEAR SOLID HD COLLECTION sur PS Vita
- METAL GEAR SOLID HD COLLECTION sur le PS Now
- METAL GEAR SOLID HD EDITION: 2 & 3 sur Xbox 360
- METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D sur Nintendo 3DS
- METAL GEAR SOLID 2 SUBSTANCE sur GOG
- METAL GEAR SOLID 2 HD sur NVIDIA Shield TV
- METAL GEAR SOLID 3 HD sur NVIDIA Shield TV
The Japanese publisher says, "We sincerely ask for your patience and understanding as we work to make these products available for sale again."
Remember that Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 both use archival videos to illustrate the very dense scenario of these two titles signed at the time by a certain Hideo Kojima. It remains to be seen now when the games in question will return to the various stores.
