CD Projekt RED has indeed announced in a tweet that the release of the Complete Edition of its legendary action-RPG must be postponed… until further notice.

(Re)discovering the apotheosis of the adventures of Geralt, with content from the Netflix series as a bonus, on next-gen consoles will have to wait a little longer. On the official Twitter account of CD Projekt RED's favorite franchise, this message was posted, to say the least unequivocally.
The Polish studio thus indicates: "We have decided to involve our internal development team on the remaining work of the next-gen version of The Witcher 3. We are currently evaluating the scope of the task to be carried out and must therefore postpone its scheduled release in the second quarter until further notice. »
As a reminder, the work done until then on the Complete Edition was managed by the American studio Saber Interactive, already in charge of porting it to Nintendo Switch, before CD Project RED decided to take up the torch. Anyway, those who waited for it will have to fret indefinitely.
More than ever, CD Projekt RED is busy on several fronts. Paweł Sasko, director of quests within the studio, indeed indicated in a recent stream “that there is still a lot of work on Cyberpunk 2077, both in terms of patches and expansions or future content”.
Finally, the Polish studio announced a few weeks ago a new saga in the universe of The Witcher which will be developed on the Unreal Engine 5. CD Projekt RED's agenda therefore turns out to be more… complete.
