Sequel or spin-off?
The one that we will take the liberty of calling Backbone 2 before knowing more will it show itself in the form of a sequel, or a new investigation for detective Howard Lotor? Hard to say, but the speed with which the EggNut team announces this new chapter suggests that it could be content that was truncated from the original game, released last June on PC, Xbox and later on PlayStation.
The result of a long crowdfunding campaign and development over more than three years, Backbone is a point and click investigation featuring anthropomorphic characters in a dystopian Vancouver. Surrounded by an atmosphere of exquisite black thriller, the title enjoys a certain science of the twist.
Originally released only in English, Backbone has recently become available in a Spanish translation allowing more people to be tempted by one of the games that punctuated the year 2021 of independent gaming.
