In 1989, you may have discovered a brand new game that was particularly stunningly realistic: Prince of Persia.

A game originally developed by one and only 25-year-old programmer: Jordan Mechner.

Prince of Persia playable in your web browser

It is indisputably an integral part of the history of video games. Prince of Persia is this screen-by-screen progression game that takes place in a universe inspired by the tales of the Arabian Nights. A title with particularly bluffing animations at the time… and with a full-bodied difficulty. He will know a second youth and a new glory in 1992, via various ports on the consoles of the moment.

In 2021, this very first Prince of Persia is playable… from your web browser. Indeed, by going directly to PrinceJS.com, it is possible to (re)play this video game monument, and perhaps rediscover those emotions that you experienced thirty years ago.

A javascript version of the 1989 game in which time management held (and still holds) a special place. Indeed, in this founding episode of the series, the player had the mission to save the princess in less than sixty minutes. Remember that a remake of The Sands of Time (originally launched in 2003) is expected for 2022.
