Is it still really necessary to present FIFA? This 2022 iteration does not reinvent much and is content to refine certain aspects that are very popular with regulars. Electronic Arts has for example put the package on the career mode which gains in depth. Whether playing a coach or a player, there is plenty to do. We find the now traditional VOLTA Football mode which drops its screenplay dimension by focusing exclusively on uninhibited street football. Keep in mind that microtransactions remain heavily entrenched in this mode.
As for the game itself, this FIFA 22 brings some subtleties such as an improved AI in defense, more detailed animations for the players and quite logically monstrous content since it is possible to play in the biggest championships like in the lesser known. Series launched in 1999 on PlayStation, the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater have rocked the childhood of many players around the world. And since nostalgia knows how to be lucrative, it was enough for Activision to launch a complete remastering of the first two games on current consoles. The graphics have obviously been completely reworked to adapt to current standards. The result is two beautiful, fluid skateboard games with gameplay that hasn't aged a bit in 20 years.
Because Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 still has a gargantuan number of challenges that the player must accomplish with tricks, stunts and chaining combos in order to earn as many points as possible. The gameplay is easy to pick up but difficult to fully master. It retains this old-school dimension so dear to fans without forgetting to add a touch of modernity. It's a real delight!
We also find the objectives of the time and the secrets to unearth in the many maps of the two episodes. The split-screen multiplayer has kept all its user-friendliness and the skate-park editor has something to delight purists. Content to no longer know what to do with, nostalgia on all levels and brand new graphics, it was enough to put our skates back together with Tony Hawk.

The NBA has many followers in Spain and for many years, 2K has reigned supreme on the side of basketball games. Despite its annual releases, the NBA 2K license has almost always managed to maintain a high degree of quality... And this observation has not been altered by the 2022 episode which, if it does not revolutionize anything compared to last year , brings appreciable nuances for demanding players. Not to mention the absolutely insane content with countless game modes to browse through.
Among the improvements noticed in this edition, let's highlight a generally more effective defense and an ultra-ambitious career mode with a more believable city than that of the previous opus. Players also enjoy extremely realistic animations (especially on next-gen consoles). Also, the "simulation" dimension has been reinforced with technical gestures that are less easy to get out of and a shot gauge revised for the occasion. Women's basketball is making a significant comeback and General Manager mode is gaining a bit in accessibility.
NBA 2K22 does things very well in terms of pure content and also allows itself to inflict a nice little visual slap on us. The atmosphere is supercharged in the arenas and the star players enjoy absolutely impeccable modeling. And if the microtransactions remain quite invasive, everything else has been handled to perfection by 2K.

Here is a little bomb that few people saw coming in 2021. Ubisoft gives us its vision of extreme sports with a boosted Riders Republic. After a fairly rudimentary avatar creation, we are free to dive into the vast open-world which actually serves as a playground for several disciplines. Cycling, skiing, snowboarding or even wingsuit are on the program of the festivities. It's simple, we link races and routes for each category in order to garner more or less original rewards.
Riders Republic is a real pleasure to take in hand thanks to its voluntarily arcade gameplay which gives maddening sensations of speed from the first seconds. An immersion that will be reinforced by switching to first-person view. Moving around in this gigantic open world provides constant gaming pleasure. Another important point, a staggering lifespan is required thanks to the dozens of activities to be completed to complete everything at 100%.
The only small hitch of Riders Republic is at the level of its noticeably dated technique. The graphics do not necessarily shine for their realism but we really appreciate the exemplary fluidity or even the effects of light. Ubisoft has also put the package on the soundtrack via tracks that stick impeccably to the general atmosphere of the game.
