The famous trilogy of Batman Arkham, developed by Rocksteady, is about to return to Nintendo Switch!

While more Switches have now been sold than Wii, Nintendo's portable console could well welcome yet another port… and to the delight of fans of the dark knight!

Batman hovers towards the Nintendo Switch

Definitely, Nintendo's hybrid console seems to be attracting third-party publishers more than ever, despite years of shunning each other. After Dark Souls or Crash Bandicoot, this time it would be the turn of the very famous and appreciated saga Batmam Arkham to land on Nintendo Switch. Indeed, it was the Spanish retailer WTT who let slip a page dedicated to Batman Arkham Collection (page since deleted), displaying a release date set for next August 31 and a price of 59,99 euros. A credible source since it had in the past already targeted just by anticipating, among other things, the porting of The Witcher 3 on the Nintendo console.

This Batman collection, already released in 2019 on consoles and PC, therefore contains Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight, as well as their many DLCs (this collection does not include Batman Arkham: Origins, an episode developed by WB Games). If the first two opuses are gradually beginning to show the weight of the years, despite a quality remaster, it is true that Batman: Arkham Knight, meanwhile released in 2015, still remains a nice visual demonstration to this day. It will therefore be interesting to observe how the Nintendo console will run the Rocksteady title, hoping for an announcement soon. And speaking of the studio, it would also see its next production, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League initially scheduled for 2022, be postponed to 2023…
