With Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Square Enix's flagship franchise isn't afraid to think outside the box. For the Japanese publisher, these games are the perfect opportunity to experiment and break away from the DNA of RPG turn-based that sticks to his skin. However, the experimentation does not stop there, since the communication campaign around the game also seeks to surprise.

After a Final Fantasy XV marked by a cover of Stand By Me by the group Florence and the Machine, the next production stamped Final Fantasy does not hesitate to play the crooners in its latest trailer with a song by Frank Sinatra, My Way.

Jack Garland takes on bosses his way

Anyway, that's for the second part of the trailer! We must not forget that this rereading of the universe and the plot of the first Final Fantasy is above all a punchy game produced by the Team Ninja teams, renowned for their nervous and violent productions. Moreover, this new Final Fantasy with Dark Souls sauce reminds us, for the umpteenth time, that its heroes are ready to fight.

This trailer, which focuses largely on the character of Jack Garland, puts us in awe with a series of extracts from different fights that are not in the lace. We can see an illustration of the professions that can be used as well as the equipment that our heroes will have during their journey through new places.

Like any good quest, they will have to deal with terrible bosses, but if they manage to get rid of Tiamat, the other crystal protectors may not be so easy to defeat. Indeed, through the gallery of monsters presented, we can come across the new version of the Kraken and that of the Lich.

At the same time, Square Enix has lifted the veil on three new professions: the samurai, the berserker and the red mage: the first is a rather agile class which has the particularity of restoring magic points by attacking, the second favors weapons very heavy while the last is a mix between the classes of the black mage and the white mage.
