The famous Steam deck has long been desired, but it has now arrived in the homes of first buyers. As for the others, they will have to wait again before they can put their hands on the Valve console.
If the Steam Deck managed to convince us thanks to its good performance and its very correct autonomy, it unfortunately does not escape certain annoying malfunctions. For example, several players have reported a "drift" problem on the joysticks of their machine. Fortunately, Valve quickly responded by deploying a patch supposed to correct this problem.
Patience is a virtue…
The American firm recently updated its site dedicated to the Steam Deck. It is now indicated that customers who choose to reserve a copy now will not receive it for many weeks. Indeed, Valve expects shipments only after the third quarter of 2022. To put it simply, new buyers will not receive their console until next October.
Valve also plans to launch its Steam Deck in other territories such as Japan from this end of the year. Note that e-mails to order the console are sent every Monday to customers who hold a reservation. They will then have 72 hours to place their order.
