From its presentation at E3 2021, Starfield lapsed into silence. But Bethesda Softworks has published three short clips aimed at briefly presenting three cities that we will have the opportunity to explore during this space epic...

To be concrete, on the other hand, you will have to be patient.

A second little appetizer

These videos, which are currently unlisted on YouTube, do not reveal any gameplay images. They only show us an artwork for each city accompanied by comments from Emil Pagliarolo, who holds the position of design director on Starfield. In short, it's an overview that allows us to understand for the first time the undoubtedly very dense lore of the game.

Remember in passing that Starfield is due to arrive on Xbox Series X | S and PC on November 11, 2022. It will also be launched in the Xbox Game Pass from the day of its release.

A little closer to the stars...

Let's start with the city of New Atlantis, which hosts a huge spaceport as well as the most powerful military and political faction in the game: the Colonial Union. Many species of aliens inhabit this teeming city. Bethesda views New Atlantis as an authentic reflection of what our future will look like.

We were then able to discover the port city of Neon. The latter was initially built on a platform exclusively dedicated to fishing. But when the locals brought a fish stuffed with a mind-altering substance to the surface, drug trafficking became the city's main activity. The substance in question is only legal on Neon and attracts a lot of people looking for fun and wealth.

Finally, Akila comes to close our little tour. The capital of the Freestar Collective confederation emphasizes individual freedoms and individualism. Around this city, a huge wall has been erected. It is used to protect the inhabitants against the Ashta, formidable monsters at the crossroads between the wolf and the velociraptor.
