It had been several weeks since Starfield was missing. But he's back today with a short video that teaches us a little more about the storyline context of the game.
Like the thumbnails posted online at the end of August, Bethesda Game Studios has released a new behind-the-scenes video from Starfield. So don't expect to find gameplay snippets or crucial information there. However, this is an opportunity to learn about a tiny part of the scenario that will punctuate our space epic.
A mysterious and tortured space
Starfield's story is set in the year 2330 in a very small part of the Milky Way called the Colonial Systems. Two decades before the events narrated in the game, the two major factions of the Colonial Union and the Liber Astra Confederacy engaged in a colonial war. 20 years later, while these factions enjoy a long period of peace, the danger remains within the Colonial Systems.
Threats such as mercenaries, Scarlet Fleet pirates, religious fanatics and ultra-violent astronauts reign terror. As for the player, he will begin his epic by joining the organization named Constellation whose objective is to lift the veil on the mysteries of our galaxy. So we'll be exploring the depths of Colonial Systems when Starfield releases November 11, 2022 on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
