We can say that Star Wars makes up for lost time in video games. Indeed, a new project has just been confirmed this week… And a big name in the gaming industry is attached to it.
The Disney saga will come back a bit to all the sauces on consoles and PC. Under the impetus of the entity Lucasfilm Games, various games will be launched in the months and years to come. We are thinking, for example, of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 at Respawn Entertainment, the remake of KOTOR by Aspyr, that dear Star Wars Eclipse by Quantic Dream, or even an open-world developed by Ubisoft Massive.

Today, the Polygon site tells us that yet another Star Wars video game is in development at Skydance New Media. This studio is headed by Amy Hennig, a director known for her work on licenses like Uncharted and Legacy of Kain. After a stint as anecdotal as it was disappointing at Electronic Arts (with another canceled Star Wars game as a bonus), she finally launched her studio, Skydance, in 2019.
To return to this new Star Wars, we simply know that it will be an action-adventure game with a very strong narrative dimension and a totally original story. We will have to be patient before we can discover additional details.
