To say that this is one of the next exclusives Nintendo Switch the most anticipated would be an understatement. Announced five years ago, Metroid Prime 4 undergoes a development that is chaotic to say the least. Dissatisfied with Bandai Namco's proposal, Nintendo finally entrusted the game to Retro Studios in 2019, the studio behind the trilogy.

As a result, fans haven't had any announcements or information to chew on for years, but that could soon change.

Metroid Prime 4 ignites the Web

With a simple gesture, Retro Studios put the entire Nintendo sphere in turmoil last night. The developers updated their social media banner on the night of February 17 with what appears to be new Metroid Prime 4 artwork. The blue-tinted image featuring the silhouette of Samus Aran n did not fail to make the fans react, and for good reason. This change is certainly not insignificant and could be a harbinger of good news.

The tedious development of the game could be on the right track, even as Retro Studios recruited with a vengeance to finish the construction site. If it is surely still far from being completed after two years of reboot, the teasing of this artwork seems to show that things are accelerating internally. Maybe Metroid Prime 4 will deign to show a second trailer this year? All hopes are allowed.
