Gran Turismo 7 is set to usher in an all-new game-changing AI at Sony.
This will be presented tomorrow, during an event called “Sony AI x Polyphony Digital Race Together”.
Gran Turismo 7 with revolutionary AI?
A few days ago, we were able to approach the new Gran Turismo 7, and ask some questions to its creator Kazunori Yamauchi. A new opus firmly awaited for March 4, which promises a return to the origins of the saga. It celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
Polyphony Digital thus promises more than substantial content, with a real single-player campaign, new game modes, full multiplayer, more than 400 racing cars and 90 tracks… but also a revolutionary new AI.
Indeed, this Wednesday, February 9, Sony will offer an event entitled Sony AI x Polyphony Digital Race Together, during which the company promises to unveil a major advance in artificial intelligence for video games, created in collaboration with the studio at the origin of Gran Turismo 7.
At present, it is impossible to know the content of this new meeting proposed by Sony's AI division, created in 2020, which works in several fields, namely robotics, imaging and video games.
We obviously hope that this new advance in the field of AI will allow Gran Turismo to offer an artificial intelligence worthy of the name, an aspect that has often been criticized over the episodes of the saga. The appointment is made for this Wednesday, February 9.
