Expected on November 11, the ten-year edition of theAction-RPG mythical Bethesda finally sees its price, even for the upgrade, revealed.

Indeed, unlike Skyrim Special Edition, even owners of this version will have to check out again.

A birthday that has a price

Remained discreet on this point until now, Bethesda has finally revealed the price to pay to celebrate ten years of Skyrim on the occasion of a FAQ on the official Elder Scrolls site. For those who have never had the opportunity to play it, it will therefore cost you 54,99 euros, regardless of the platform. A physical version for PS4 and Xbox One is also planned, but an internet connection will be required to activate it.

On the other hand, contrary to what one might have expected, the upgrade for holders of Skyrim Special Edition in digital version will not be free. It will indeed pay an additional 19,99 euros to acquire this new version. This will bring improved graphics, new quests and armor, and natively integrate mods like fishing.

It's up to everyone to see if the price to pay is fair for a first purchase or an upgrade, but it should be borne in mind that this Anniversary Edition may make many mods active on the PC version of Special Edition incompatible. . For their part, the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will be entitled to a free next-gen update with all that that implies.

November 11 will therefore be loaded with nostalgia, between this umpteenth edition of Skyrim and the remastered Grand Theft Auto trilogy, whose preloading conditions have recently been detailed.
