With its uninhibited Doom-like tunes and its universe heavily inspired by Japanese folklore, ShadowWarrior 3 was one of the games to watch very closely in 2021. At least, that was before it joined the long list of indefinitely postponed games during 2022.
But it was without counting on the small gaffe of the online stores of Sony and Microsoft, which unveil the new release date of Shadow Warrior 3 before the hour.
Shadow Warrior 3 holds its new release date
It's one of the most anticipated Devolver Digital games of this year. Shadow Warrior 3 missed its date last year with a postponement sometime in October, but the announcement of its new release date is imminent. According to the recent update of the pages dedicated to the crossed out shooter on the PS Store and the Microsoft Store, Shadow Warrior 3 would be expected on March 1, 2022 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The title developed by Flying Wild Hog would also be offered with a pre-order offer stamped “Pre-Order Bundle”, sold at 49,99 euros. It will include Shadow Warrior 3, the two previous games and a limited edition katana skin usable only in the third installment.
