The legendary Ocarina of Time has recently been talked about again with several PC porting projects, including this one which allows you to rediscover this masterpiece in HD at 60 fps.
At the end of March, we were talking about Ship of Harkinian, an impressive PC port that could be downloaded for free, but which unfortunately did not support such a resolution with such a high frame rate.
Ocarina of Time brought up to date
Today, the PC port of Ocarina of Time that interests us is another experimentation provided this time by the team behind the OpenOcarina project. While waiting for the most robust Ship of Harkinian port to be expanded, it is already possible for those who wish to reconnect with this video game legend in HD at 60 fps.
Zel640, the youtubeur who wanted to highlight this experimental port on video, specifies that it still lacks finishing. Some bugs are indeed to be deplored. This port should otherwise work very well to (re)visit Ocarina of Time like never before.
To take advantage of it on your side, however, you will have to go to the Github page dedicated to porting (cited in source below). If you want to find one of the best games of all time in HD at 60 fps, you will therefore have to download all the elements present on the latter.
Besides a Windows version, macOS and Linux versions are also supported. Depending on the operating system, detailed instructions (in English) explaining the procedure for a successful installation accompany the various elements to download.
