This week, we learned that in addition to Star wars eclipse, Quantic Dream would work on a completely different project. The insider behind this rumor backed up his point with more specific information.

The Spanish studio has a habit of more or less voluntarily teasing its future games through technical demos released several years ago. This was for example the case of Detroit: Become Human whose story was inspired by the demo Kara. At E3 2013, during the Sony conference that lifted the veil on the PS4, Quantic Dream revealed to the world another demo called The Dark Sorcerer. And it is the latter that holds our attention.

A very different game?

Thus, the AccountNGT Twitter account declares this weekend that Quantic Dream's other AAA game is taken from the The Dark Sorcerer demo. The title would emphasize humor while taking place in a medieval fantasy universe. A tone that would contrast radically with the serious side of the studio's productions. However, the story (written by David Cage) would keep a non-linear and interactive aspect.

It is the Paris-based team that would take care of the game which would have reached a more advanced stage of development than Star Wars Eclipse. The title would be released on current consoles but also on the old generation (PS4, Xbox One) and on PC. This cross-gen dimension could however be abandoned. To be continued…
