Yesterday the PS5 was celebrating its first birthday. On this occasion, Sony unveiled the games on which the owners of the new generation console have spent the most time.
The top 10 most played titles on PlayStation 5 includes only two exclusives and encompasses games from all stables.

A year later and a shortage that still prevails, the PS5 is blowing out its first candle. Despite supply issues, the new-gen console is breaking sales records and has found 13 million owners to date. A total of more than 360 games were released on PS5 during its first year of existence, but Sony invites us to discover for the occasion the top 10 most played titles on its new machine.
There are only two exclusives in the ranking, accompanied by games from third-party publishers from popular franchises, three of which are focused on sports thanks to the impetus of the American market. Note, however, that this ranking stops at the period of September 30, 2021, but this should not change the situation enormously.

Over 25 PS5 exclusives in development
Only Spider-Man Miles: Morales and Demon's Souls, released at the launch of the console, therefore managed to slip into the rankings. In his blog post, Jim Ryan also cites performances from other exclusives released in the meantime, including Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, and Deathloop, all of which have found their audience. The PlayStation boss recalls that the coming year looks even more promising for PS5 owners with titles like God of War: Ragnarok, Horizon: Forbidden West or Gran Turismo 7, especially since more than 25 games are currently in development within the various PlayStation Studios.
Finally, the manufacturer also shared some useless statistics, as usual. So we learn that PS5 gamers have accumulated more than 4,6 billion hours of play since November 12, 2020 and streamed more than 26 million hours of content from their hard-earned consoles.
