A revision of the famous Sony Interactive Entertainment console is starting to be sold in certain regions of the globe. This PS5 has two small changes that will not drastically change the user experience.
During its life, a console is brought to evolve via technical revisions. If some are easily noticed (like the Slim versions for example), other iterations are more anecdotal and not necessarily publicized by the manufacturer. It is this last scenario that is concerned this week with the deployment of a significantly modified PlayStation 5 in Australia.

A slightly lighter PS5
Spotted by the Press-Start site, this PS5 with Blu-ray player has the serial number CFI-11XX. In the radius of the changes, we can note the presence of a new screw for the support of the console. This can now be screwed and unscrewed by hand without the need for a screwdriver. In addition, the machine itself now weighs 3,6 kg, a reduction of 300 grams compared to the PlayStation 5 launched last November.
Thus, these developments do not come to change the situation. This revision should gradually be rolled out to all markets.
