If the State of Play devoted to Japanese studios had clearly not marked the spirits at the beginning of March, PlayStation could catch up this week with several major announcements.
As we know, Sony likes to play the card of discretion before its big speeches. Like the announcement of the PlayStation VR2, the Japanese manufacturer has often contented itself with publishing simple articles on its blog to keep its community informed of the latest news. And it was not the insipid State of Play broadcast on March 9 that changed the situation…
Exaggerated expectations and great caution
But according to recent rumors, PlayStation is about to make some important announcements this week. This is what journalist Greg Miller suggests in a recent tweet. He specifies that the week could be "very interesting" on Sony's side if even "only one of the three rumors" that he could hear came to fruition. The Japanese firm could therefore prepare us up to three surprises.
One of them is already known since Bloomberg reported last Friday that Sony should lift the veil on its new Project Spartacus service this week. As for the other two (hypothetical) announcements… We'll have to be patient!
