Indeed, a list mentions a prototype sent secretly by the Japanese manufacturer at the end of last year. What could it be?
PSVR 2 in sight?
Recently, the Tweak Town site spotted that secret prototypes had been shipped by Sony from the London headquarters to Virginia. An operation which took place exactly on November 16, 2021, and which contained no less than 700 kg divided into four boxes. If we are not aware of what precisely these packages contained, we do know that they were indeed prototypes of video game consoles. And if it is easy to think of a revision of the PS5 in the first place, whether through a Slim version or a Pro model, another track could also be envisaged.
As a reminder, a few days ago Sony officially lifted the veil on the final design of its PSVR 2, the next virtual reality headset for the PlayStation 5. And even if the PSVR 2 will not arrive before the year 2023 , it is obvious that the communication around the VR device is starting to accelerate and that its release is fast approaching. It could therefore be an interesting lead concerning these mysterious packages, although it is currently impossible to determine what exactly it is.
