Not necessarily highly anticipated by players, Outriders will put all the chances on its side to reach a wider audience. Thus, the title published by Square Enix will be included in the Xbox Game Pass from its launch.
It's rare to see a big-budget game made by a non-Microsoft studio get introduced to Xbox Game Pass on release day. Yet this is what Outriders is about to do. The manufacturer confirmed the news this week by declaring that the software published by Square Enix and developed by People Can Fly (Bulletstorm, Gears of War ...) will arrive within the subscription service from April 1st.

Outriders will do anything to exist
The playable demo didn't really raise the crowds… Still, Outriders starts out with good intentions. It will try to mix RPG mechanics with a resolutely action-oriented gameplay since it is a third-person shooter. Playable solo or in cooperation with up to two friends, the software will plunge us into the heart of a disreputable planet on which we will have to destroy our enemies using conventional weapons and supernatural powers.
In short, a fairly standard starting point, but which could offer some friendly games (especially thanks to cross-play). Outriders is planned for the Xbox Game Pass console and Cloud via Android devices. In addition to Xbox machines, the game is also expected on PS4, PS5, and PC.
