O surprise, Starfield and Redfall are pushed back to next year

Unfortunately, it was to be expected: the two biggest games from the Bethesda stables, which are Starfield et redfall won't come out this year.

Initially planned for the end of 2022 when we had hardly seen anything, the two titles finally give us an appointment until further notice in 2023 to discover them.

Rocket launch delayed

Probably the most ambitious title Bethesda has ever made and on which there is a lot of hope, the massive RPG Starfield has encountered problems on the launch pad. Same observation for Redfall, the cooperative FPS à la Back 4 Blood against vampires developed by Arkane Austin.

Bethesda said in a statement on Twitter that its two biggest titles will not surprisingly not be ready for their planned release this year.

A decision that undoubtedly disappoints many fans, but which remains despite everything could not be more logical. Of these two games, we had so far only seen a trailer and a few scattered diaries from the developers.

Their postponement of a big year should thus allow the teams to really give substance to their ambitions and to refine the formula. A former developer at Bethesda had indeed leaked a few days ago that Starfield was showing promise in its current state, but particularly buggy (it's a Bethesda game after all!).

Despite everything, it is not impossible that Starfield and Redfall will make an appearance at the Xbox Games Showcase scheduled for June 12, since Bethesda is also there. See you in a month to get to the bottom of it!
