With its Additional Pack, Nintendo has been offering players a good dose of nostalgia for the past few months! Gradually, the catalog of this improved version of the Online service of the Switch is expanding many games that do not necessarily come from the company. This month, again, three new SEGA games are in the spotlight.

After Light Crusader, Super Fantasy Zone and Alien Soldier last March, Nintendo is shining a few nuggets from the Mega Drive and rolling out the red carpet for the mascot of its eternal rival.

Three new nuggets in the catalog

The so-called Genesis across the Atlantic has a nice collection of titles that Nintendo intends to add to its large library of games available within Switch Online. The service, inaugurated last October, allows using a simple application to access an increasingly extensive gallery of Mega Drive games, provided you have subscribed to the Additional Pack formula.

At present, more than thirty games are available and the three new candidates for the month of April come to lengthen the list. From now on, Shining Force II, Space Harrier II and Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball are playable from the application. This new batch of games should therefore, for sure, delight fans of tactical RPG, shoot'em up and arcade.

These new games are therefore timely, like Dragon Quest Builders 2 which is currently available, since they give players the opportunity to wait before Nintendo's next big move for its online service. Because in the shadows, Big N could work on the porting of Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games as was the case for the Nintendo 64.
