After long years of hope, an international release of Mother 3 is no more than a distant dream.
Undoubtedly to satisfy the overflowing appetite of the fans, who claim body and soul a release of the game in our regions, the creator YouTube Curiomatic imagined what a Mother 3 Remake could give.

The Mother series (Earthbound in Europe) has been talking about her for a few days. Beyond the announcements around the next games, the latest Nintendo Direct also marked the arrival of the saga on Switch via Nintendo Switch Online. At least, of the first two episodes only, since Mother 3 was never released in the West, despite constant fan requests. The more the years pass, the more the hopes around a remake grow, in vain.
In reality, the chances of such a project being approved by Big N are slim. Earthbound has met with mixed commercial success in the United States, and themes that are too adult and mature no doubt hold back the publisher. Never mind, if Nintendo turns a deaf ear, an enthusiast has imagined what a Mother 3 Remake would look like.
The result is as convincing as it is pretty, in a style close to The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and a touch of clay-motion. It is however only a short film and not a project strictly speaking in development, but it is mouth watering. And you, what do you think of this fan made?
