Artists never cease to captivate us with technical demos made under Unreal Engine 5, and these sets designed in just 90 days are no exception to the rule.

Rightly titled Ninety Days, this true masterpiece using the latest generation engine from Epic Games and in particular Quixel Megascans is a compilation of some 40 simply sumptuous realistic settings.

90 days to amaze us

Specializing in creating an extensive library of 3D assets to help artists and developers quickly bring their vision to life, Quixel looked to Unreal Engine 5 to see what was possible in mixing these two tools. And as much to say that the result literally strikes the retina. Take a look!

Many artists have responded to make this superb video and garnish it with more than 40 radically different sets. From wild and fantastic nature to the post-apocalyptic through space or a cyberpunk atmosphere, there's something for all tastes and colors!

The Unreal Engine 5 literally bursts the screen here both in terms of texture quality and lighting thanks to the famous Lumen and Nanite technologies. As for the assets, they were notably drawn from the Quixel Megascans library, as well as from Sketchfab and the Unreal Engine Marketplace.

The fact that this video was made in just 90 days says a lot about what artists and developers are able to do in such a short time with the right tools. We are in any case reassured about the future of video games on the visual level, which looks brighter than ever (in a few years)!
