At the time of the premiere teaser broadcast in September 2021, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 lurked in the shadows. But since the Insomniac Games blockbuster is supposed to land next year, players are eagerly awaiting specific information.
After the excellent Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the American studio plunges back into the world of Marvel superheroes with the second epic adventure of the web weaver. The trailer for this Marvel's Spider-Man 2 hinted at several aspects of the game, such as being able to control both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. It was also an opportunity to see Venom.
Production is ongoing
In the role of the famous symbiote, we will find actor Tony Todd (Flash, Stargate SG-1, Scream: Resurrection). The latter published a relatively interesting tweet this week in which he declared that he was participating in one (or more) motion capture session. In response, netizens massively shared photos of Venom. And since the main interested party liked several tweets which referred to the character of the Marvel universe, we can happily assume that the motion capture concerns Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
Thus, this certainly very light information tells us that Insomniac Games has obviously not finished the motion capture of the actors of the game, which must however be released in 2023. The road will undoubtedly still be very long before having the opportunity to review Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
